Southern Zululand, Coastal. The Reserve encompasses dense coastal dune forest, mangrove swamp, beach and the lagoon at the river mouth. bushpig, reedbuck, blue, red and grey duiker, and bushbuck occur. Some crocodiles are to be found. Birdlife is abundant.
