Eksteenfontein is a small village in the Richtersveld, in the most northwestern corner of the Namaqualand. It is situated on the border of the Richtersveld Community Conservancy, about 150 km northwest of Springbok.
How to get there: Take the N7 from Springbok to Steinkopf, a distance of about 60km, and then turn left onto the R382 to Port Nolloth. The turn-off to Eksteenfontein, a gravel road, is about 35 km from Steinkopf. Follow it for 55km to reach this friendly town.
